The year 2019 was an important year for the Department of Law Commission for its administrative successes. The department was awarded a certificate for its successful compliance to the government financial regulations in the administrative process during the financial year 2018 by the Public Account Committee of the Parliament of Sri Lanka. The Department was able to select among the best government institutions 109 out of all government intuitions in Sri Lanka. This achievement encouraged the Department staff to provide their maximum service to the betterment of the department in future.
